Lincoln Memorial

Hello everyone! I just wanted to share an interesting picture. This picture was taken a few years ago, when I went to Washington D.C for the March for Life. It was very interesting because it was the first time I had been there, and see all of the historical sites. It was a very cold day that day and it reminds me of the winter season which I am deffinately not looking forward to.

The Beautiful sky

Hello everyone! This week, I wanted to share a picture of the sky that I captured one evening. It really shows the beauty of the outside, but it also give meaning to the life we live. "Fall is in the air"

Hello everyone! Fall is one of my favorite times of year because it is a symbol for "change" as we head into the month of October our minds have a preparation for the upcoming holidays and it gives us a time for hope as we go on for the rest of this month. We are getting closer and closer where it gets colder and it becomes very uncomfortable outside! With this image, I am trying to give the inspiration that even though it is getting colder out, the scenary is beautiful and that we need to enjoy every minute of it before it is all gone!

"Good year for the flowers"

Hello everyone! This week I wanted to share with you the flowers that are doing well in our backyard. I am very impressed, especially when it is October. This year has been a "textbook year" for the plants and crops just because the weather has been perfect to work in. Hopefully the flowers in the yard keep a blooming, and try to keep the summer season alive, because clearly it has started to get cold. Oh well I guess thats Illinois for you!

*~It's Fall Again"

Hello everyone! this week I am posting up a picture of some of the first signs of Fall. Autumn is a very beautiful time in the year because the leaves start changing colors and everything starts changing around....even though it is one step closer to winter, it is still very pretty to look at. Right now, the leaves have started changing a little bit. I found some leaves off one of my trees starting to change....It's really sad to watch because it reminds me of the cold and I don't like Illinois in the winter!

"The Flag that flew high"

Hello! This week, I have another picture that was done in perspective! I tried to take this picture in the perspective that the flag was flying on top of my house. I thought it was pretty cool how I put it into perspective. Flags are highly resembled in the country as the symbol of freedom to the people. Flags are flown at high mass everyday and it is a symbol that God created us all equal.

"The HUGE WEED"

Hello Everyone!
This picture was taken this past Sunday for another class I was doing a project in with different kinds of perspective. I took a picture of this HUGE weed that was growing in our yard....since the dryness from the summer, for the past two months...it seems like a lot of weeds have been growing instead of grass....in this picture, i am trying to make it look like the weed was taller than the bush in the background, in some ways it worked and there are some ways that it could've been better!

"The Beautiful Sky'

Hello! Happy Labor Day everyone! This event actually happened on Friday morning. I woke up to a beautiful sky. It had rained on Thursday night and to wake up to the ground wet and the beautiful sky was perfect. It was really neat to be honest! The colors that were used were really beautiful. It had a lot of blues, oranges, reds, and purples.

"The Unexpected Rainbow"

Hello Again! Tonight the interesting thing that happened to me was that I saw a rainbow in the sky. Tonight, I went to my brother's baseball game here in Rantoul. It was a good game, we won 14-3. Todays forcast was there was a chance of rain. Knowing the chances of rain we have had lately, it was likely the chances were slim to none. We got a couple of drops, but it really didn't amount to much. When my mom and I drove home we saw a rainbow. It was sunny at the time but it was cloudy in the area and it had been raining a rainbow appeared. It was really neat considering it hasn't rained that much. Rainbows in my opinion are beautiful and it is almost once in a lifetime opportunity, especially in the later months of the summer season!

Watching football on a "brown" field

Hello again! This is my second post...in two days (i'm doing good with this)! Today was a beautiful day to go to a football game. It wasn't too warm, a nice breeze. My cousin played his first High School career football game at Charleston High School. (Honestly, it wasn't much of a game...we got clobbered 54-12, but for their first game, they did alright). The interesting thing that happened today was the football field that they played on was almost completely brown. It was brown, because of the drought we have been in for the past (almost 3 months). The grass looked nasty, and dead. This was interesting to me because I've never seen yards or grass this dead before. It is really sad to look at. This time, since I noticed the "brown" field I took some pictures of it from where I was sitting. The pictures definately tell how bad the area is without the rain.

"The Disruption at the Baseball game"

Hello!
This is my first interesting thing that happened to me on my first week of school! Today I had a day off....I did nothing but homework for most of the day...(I was pretty busy). I was planning on going to my brothers baseball game today at Thomasboro Grade School. While I was there the most unusual thing happened. During the game over by the first baseline a "sand" tornado formed in the field. It was really awesome to look at because you don't normally see those everyday. It traveled from the first base line, to the pitching mond, to the third base line where it disappeared shortly after. They had to stop the game to let it pass....it was just one of those moments where I should've brought my camera out.
